I’m Wishin’ I’s Fishin’

I miss fishin’. I wish I lived on a river or lake so I can fish all spring and summer long.  When I’m havin a bad day and I need a 5 minute “time- out” I go to my room, shut the door, and daydream about sittin on a fishin dock with my favorite fishin pole and tackle box and my feet danglin over the edge. The waters calm, no wind to carry your line, some birds tweeterin and the sun just peeking over the tree line. Fishin is relaxin for me. I don’t do that very often. Sometimes I just go to time out catch my breath. Raisin 3 boys…yup.

I haven’t been fishin in a few years because, well… life. See, I’m not a multitasker at all. I can’t do more than one thing at a time. Yes, it is frustrating. I wish I could multitask because then I’d probably get more done! One of my friends tell me all the time that I may look like a girl but I have a mind like a guy (no offense to the guys). I don’t know. Is there any other women who can’t multitask? So for me to take myself fishin I’d have to bring along my 3 boys, which is fine if I had help to do so. It wouldn’t be relaxin for me because I’d be so worried about my 18 month old goin off, my just 4 year old doesn’t know how to swim just yet, heck he doesn’t even like baths, and my 8 year old, well he gets worked up if he doesn’t get a fish. 8 year old has been askin to go fishin but until I have help it’d be a minute before I takem. No, we don’t live near anyone who can babysit and I’m not that trusting. My kiddos are my world and if anything was to happen to’em well lets just say I would put all Christianity aside, if ya know what I mean! So there ya have it. You now know a little more about this introverted momma who can’t do more than one thang at a time who daydreams about fishin!

Just for the record, I do know how to spell but I like my country accent and the way I say my own words and you get a little idea of what I may sound like! 😉
